Four in a Row v2

retrained Oct 22 on self-play; it has not used human matches yet. The other five train by self-play.

How the AI learns

  1. Step 1

    You play a full match

Guests play too. Sign in to keep an Elo per game and a place on the leaderboard.

  2. Step 2

The match is replayed and checked

The server replays every move through the same deterministic game core. Abandoned, invalid, too short or inhumanly fast matches never reach training.

  3. Step 3

A challenger has to earn promotion

In games that learn from people, checked human matches help train a challenger. It ships only after it beats the current champion in a gated head-to-head, and each game’s stats page shows which games learn from humans today.

Play chips only. Nothing to buy, nothing to win but a place on the board. Duelwise uses finished Four in a Row matches for training unless you opt out in Settings. In Chess, Heads-Up Hold'em, Word Duel, Tinderbox and Coldstore they are kept for your report and rating only.
